Disaster Management Preparedness for upcoming monsoon

Yesterday i.e on Friday, 31st May, Brihanmumbai Mahanagarpalika (BMC) did a survey of the flood-prone areas and the landslide areas in Mumbai.

As per the call received from BMC, our AADM Office deployed 3 ARCAD Ham Volunteers for the survey. They accompanied BMC Officials at the various zones across Mumbai. Today will be the second and the last day of this survey.

AADM role was mainly to identify the high rise points in the flood prone areas, such that our Hams can be deployed there during floods or such disasters for aiding effective communication.
